Personal Brand Exploration
Overview & Objective
This portfolio was created to showcase my skills & aspirations to become a successful Sportscaster. Through text video, and slideshow presentation, I am emphasizing my personal brand and connecting it with Sportscasting and my journey to complete my degree at Full Sail University and secure a position in the TV and/or radio industry doing what I love-Sports Commentary.
What I Learned & Why It Matters
I learned how to express my personal brand through conducting research online and using various tools and websites to gather data and information. This is critical in applying to establishing my online presence for Sportscasting. This matters because with a professional portfolio with online presence, I will attract active employers and companies in the Sportscasting industry for future careers.
Skills & Software
Power Point, MacBook, Slideshare, embedding videos & images online, conducting proper research using various websites, creative design, proper font and picture positioning through width, alignment, margins online, digital portfolio creation, time management, purchasing a domain to use for portfolio website.
Time
Altogether roughly 6-8 hours spent researching, learning, and composing the portfolio. Also purchased a domain to use and apply to my portfolio online moving forward.
